About the Choir
As the largest choral group, the
Concert Choir features all students involved in the WM vocal music program.
2005 saw its choristers in national news media as they welcomed the Signal
Hill Alumni Choir of Tobago to Toronto. In 2002, the Choir joined other
groups from across Ontario for a performance of Orff's Carmina Burana
at the University of Toronto. Regular appearances at the Ontario Vocal
Festival and outreach at local schools allow the Choir to perform diverse
works, from classical repertoire to music of different cultures.
Membership
All students taking any Vocal course
must attend Concert Choir practices once a week. Instrumental Music students are strongly encouraged to join the Concert Choir. All members must be in a music course, or have taken a Woburn music course.
Interested in Starting?
Prospective students should select
Vocal Music; interested Woburn music students should see the conductor. |
