About the Choir
The Madrigal Choir includes
20+ senior grade singers who perform choral chamber music. Performing at a high
standard, both technique and interpretation are finely tuned. The Choir has
performed at the Ontario Vocal Festival, at TDSB events including the Music Showcase
at the George Weston Recital Hall, and has been invited to a number of
performance and workshop opportunities, including recent collaborations
with the Amadeus Choir and the Faculty of Music of the University of Toronto.
Membership
Students with choral experience
are invited to audition for a limited number of places. Most successful candidates are in grades 11 and 12. Concert Choir membership
is mandatory.
