Course Description:
AMV
(9-12)
Students acquire an understanding
of music by learning to sing and developing their singing technique. A
wide variety of choral repertoire is studied along with vocalizing and
technical studies. Good singing tone and personal musical emphasis are
emphasized. Students also learn proper vocal technique and how the human
body produces sound. The rudiments of music theory are examined in relation
to studies. All students participate in a co-curricular ensemble as part
of course requirements. |
