Council members attending provincial leadership course
June 23, 2007 07:46 PM

Three members of WM are experiencing a week of leadership development and personal growth at the Ontario Educational Leadership Centre (OELC). The course in Music, which began last weekend, takes selected students from around the province, many in leadership roles in their school music programs, and provides an intensive experience which will give them insight into the nature of student and educational leadership. The training has been considered standard preparation for our Music Council senior leaders for a number of years.

Among the WM contingent this year are Anthony Varahidis, Scott Harbin, and Vatsal Trivedi, all veteran Council members.

Mrs Houghton is at OELC for the third time as a facilitator, one of the experienced teachers responsible for delivering the program.

The course ends June 30.
