Over two hundred and forty students have registered in music courses at Woburn this year, and all are now experiencing the first classes of the new term.

Not everyone had been spending time quietly. Three members of Council attended the Ontario Educational Leadership Centre in late June.

The Department is fortunate to have two veteran teachers whose dedication and skills have always been noted. Returning will be Mrs. Laura Houghton, Performing Arts head of Woburn Collegiate, and Mr. Brian Farrow.

The President of the Music Council for 2007/2008 is Tim Mark, most recently the secretary to outgoing president Eva Chan.

One of the highlights of the upcoming year surely will be the European tour planned for late February, on which a number of WM students will be embarking.
