Council elections coming soon

Once again, the time has come for the Music Council elections. All vocal and instrumental classes, as well as the Wind Ensemble, Concert Choir, and the Jazz Band hold an election, run by the Music Council Executive; to determine a representative for each.

The music council is an organization devoted to the success of Woburn's music department. Our goal as the Woburn Music Council is to act as ambassadors for the Woburn community, strive to connect all aspects of the department to provide an enriching musical experience, and an interwoven sense of unity. Council members will be asked to work on a regular basis concerning the department. As well, meetings will be held weekly during lunch hours and jobs and assignments will be given.

If you are interested in running to become a representative for your class or ensemble, please be prepared for your election late next week. You may want to prepare a 1-2 minute speech or presentation, to convince your classmates of your qualifications for this important position.

September 13th
Grade 12 Representative
Grade 11 Representative

September 17th
Senior Vocal Representative

September 18th
Grade 10 Representative

September 19th
Concert Choir Representative

September 20th
Grade 9 Representative 1
Grade 9 Representative 2
Guitar Representative

September 21st
Grade 9 Representative 3
Grade 9 Representative 4
Grade 9 Junior Vocal Representative
Grade 10 Junior Vocal Representative
Senior Jazz Band Representative
