WM will add to the nostalgic tone of Commencement
October 25, 2007 11:18 AM

The Wind Ensemble will make its first performance of the year at Woburn's annual Commencement Exercises Friday.

The band will perform first at the entrance of the graduates and faculty, along with the national anthem and a concert piece. Near the end of the proceedings, audiences will hear the only full-band rendition of the Wildcat Song they will hear all year.

Commencement evening will also be a homecoming of sorts for grads, some of whom will hear the Wind Ensemble as an audience member for the first time since grade 9.

Grads give back

At this season of the year many graduates and their families think of their own time at Woburn, and how WM played a substantial role in that career. Some choose to give a tribute gift to the Woburn Music Foundation. Visit its web site to find out how you can join this growing group of supporters.
