Don’t let the name scare you away! Gino Monopoli is a fundraising event being held by the Toronto Youth Wind Orchestra (TYWO) on Sunday, February the 17th. The night not only includes a fabulous concert, but a dinner, silent auction, and a casino event. You may be wondering “What exactly is this fundraising for?” Well, all of the money from this concert will go towards TYWO traveling to Sydney, Australia in 2009. The ticket costs for the dinner and concert are $75 for adults and $30 for students. For just the concert, the costs are $25 for adults and $15 for students. The event will be held at Le Parc hotel, and begins at 6:30.
Oh – for those of you wondering – the name of the event was inspired by the concert’s highlight piece: “Godzilla Eats Las Vegas!”
