As usual, the banquet rocked just about everyones socks (if they were wearing socks). After everyone had taken pictures and exchanged greetings, the evening began. Tim Mark, our Council president, started the night off by making a short speech. Following that was dinner, as well as the presenting of the Jeanie Awards and the new Executive Music Council, Triple Award Winners, the Music Banquet Video, the gifts for the teachers, this year's graduates and graduate slideshow, and then, of course, the dancing.

This year, a special European Onion Award was given, as well as the usual Onion Award. It was a tough competition for the European Onion between the 'Windex' award, to Mr. Farrow, and the 'Pee Soup' award to Scott Harbin, but Mr. Farrow and his inability to see glass won it in the end. As for the regular Onion, it was a unanimous decision from the entire audience; Scott Harbin and Addesse Haile won for their 'Inappropriate Digits' Jeanie.

The new Executive Music Council members were also presented during the evening. Congratulations to:

As the night continued, many laughs were shared and comments made (some that should not be repeated), and the dancing began. A crowd and personal favourite of the night would have to be Mr. Farrow rocking out with his brand new hairdo (and probably suffering severe whiplash in the process), which he recieved as a gift from Music Council. Finally, DJ John - everybodys favourite crazy old DJ - played the last song of the night and everyone slowly trickled out of the hall to be picked up by patiently waiting parents. A night to remember!
