Already in our second month of school, we Woburn Music students are getting ready for the excitement this year promises. Ensembles have been running for weeks now, and we are preparing for big events that are soon to come.
The annual Wind Ensemble performance at Commencement is our first event, followed by the much-anticipated concert with Richard Saucedo and four York high school bands.
The choirs will debut at the Remembrance Day assemblies in November, and the Jazz Band has already enjoyed its first performance in the Welcome assembly.
We are midway through our fundraising campaign. The Frozen Delights and Christmas gifts are proving to some participants to be a big hit among friends, family members and teachers. This campaign will benefit students themselves to help pay for other events and opportunities we have planned for the rest of the year.
Brace yourselves - the excitement is beginning!
